A little trouble.....

Sry for asking a noob question (or putting this in the wrong are.(i am new)), but the 1.24 patch came out today and it's really annoying. I've tried many places and websites, even programs. None helped me out, as you can see I have a very unique problem....

1. Don't have the cd or cd key

2. I have the files and folder, but the game isn't installed (meaning i can't use the regedit solution).

Therefore making the update not able to find the path. I know it's possible b/c i did it a long time ago.....

Exact error:

Blizzard PrePatch v2.70 compiled on Jul 7 2003

This program patches Warcraft 3

from ur newn noob member|||Are you trying to install the patch as root/admin or a restricted user?

"Access is denied" sounds like you're trying to modify a file that isn't owned by whatever user you are logged in as.
