need help!

i have downloaded maps to my destop then placed them in my maps folder for warcraft 3 but when i go to the game i cant find them ive tryed every thing plz help|||This site's got a bug where it adds a bunch of characters onto the filename of any map that's uploaded, and maps that have filenames over a certain length won't show up in the map selection screen of WC3, so maps that already have a long filename to begin with might end up going over the limit.

Try shortening the filename and see if that allows it to show up.|||i tryed that but it still doesnt show up :/ also the map file doesnt even look like all the other maps icon i just looks like a blank page|||Did you also delete the file-type extension by accident?|||im not sure but it says that the maps i downloaded are W3X Files not Wc3 Scenario Files..... does it make a difference???|||Well, if you are trying to play a w3x file with Reign of Chaos, that isn't going to work.

If you don't have the expansion, you'll just have to stick to RoC maps.|||so are their any Wc3 maps on this site? or only expansion maps?|||Yes, they are all still here, but the last "upgrade" to the site seemed to have removed the only method or sorting them out. I'm not sure if there is actually any way to do it now.

If you're only looking for RoC maps, you'd probably be better off trying a different site with a better search/sorting function.|||ok ty :)
