having problem installing maps

[:1]I have patch 1.24.4.6.... which I think is the latest one. So I tried downloading some custom maps and I put them in the downloaded folder in WC3/maps

and nothing shows up when I try to opening it in game.

The file ends with .w3x <---- is this a frozen throne file or ROC

And also where can I download ROC maps, Im lookin for a dragonball z rpg game

Thank you, any help would be great!|||If that happens that means the map has been made by author that has a different patch. Some maps dosen't work properly sorry. Try downloading some new maps instead of old ones.
