Please help!

Im new and im trying to figure out how to use the maps, i downloaded one and i dont know what kind of emulator i need. Can anyone tell me what emulator to download in order to play the games here please?|||ok heres what u gatta do... wen u save the map redirect its save location and folow these... My Computer...Program Files... Warcraft 3 ...Maps...Download.. do not save while playing the game...

The exact nature of his problem is unknown, so any speculation is a fair attempt.

You do not need any emulator to play these maps. All you need is a valid, working copy of WarCraft3. Although, if you are trying to play a map file that ends in .w3x on the Reign of Chaos, then that will not work because w3x files are only playable on the Frozen Throne expansion.
