[:1]Me and my friend have this favourite TD that we lost when we got new computers or did format:c or w/e. I've been looking for it all around, and now I'm asking you for help! Here's the particulars as I remember them:
.wc3x (tft map)
6 players (or 8, most likely not 10 anyway).
I have no memory of the name whatsoever.
All players would be teamed up in teams of two. One would build on the north side, and one on the south side. Then creeps spawned from both sides and ran to the opposite spawn. There was one big space in the north/south for each player to build on, then a small passage to the middle space. The small passage was on the left side for the red player, who had the south spawn. It was not possible to build in the middle space, if I remember right.
Each player got to choose (I think) Two elements for their towers. The elements were as follows:
Fire, water (ice?), darkness, light, chaos, and then there was one more that I don't remember. Each element could be upgraded into one out of two tower-chains, each chain had a specific spell or ability attached to them. For example one chaos tower chain would deal damage in an AoE around them when killing a target, and one darkness tower chain had critical strike. You could later build a tower that had both the elemental spells, and upgrade that.
You also had the possibility of upgrading the elements, fire/water, dark/light, chaos and whatever the last one was. These upgrades gave more damage to all towers of that elements, but did not allow any new upgrades from what I remember.
And then, the last thing that was the most unique part of the TD:
One building allowed you to send special units through your maze. Depending on your difficulty setting, you had access to 1 to like 7 or more special units to send. These units would give you bounty, and also an income increase.
The units you could send were (among others) a speedy draenei (DotA's Gondar model) outcast, a banshee with a high evasion or dmg reduction aura or so, an infernal with immolation that pwnd your towers.
The setting of the map was tropical, like the troll islands in the tft campaign
Please, if you know what this map is called or where to find it - tell me! : D
