Hosting of DoTA just bounces back to LAN lobby

[:1]Ok, so I've never had a problem like this before.

I'm using LogMeIn Hamachi v.

I just updated/patched my Warcraft III version from 1.21 to 1.24.

I try playing the latest DoTA map ( in LAN ) and I can't join my friends game. I try hosting and a really bizarre thing happens: I can select the map and click "Create Game" and then the menu will change as if it's creating the game, but then my menu just bounces back to LAN...

It's like I've gone and clicked cancel instead of create game, even though I havn't...
